Membership is free, voluntary and without time limits.
We welcome new members into our community, where you’ll find a supporting environment, like-minded peers, and access to professional and social development programs. Joining our community is an important step, and the relationships we form will become a powerful tool for you to lean on.
It starts with getting to know each other.
Getting Started:
Become a Member in 3 Simple Steps
Step 1: Book a Tour
The first step is arranging a tour of Skagit Clubhouse. During your visit, our colleagues will show you around the space and introduce you to the Clubhouse Model—how our community works together and what daily life here looks like.
The goal is to help you get a feel for the environment and learn about the opportunities available to members.
The tour lasts about 30 minutes and gives you plenty of time to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and learn how we support mental health and recovery.
We understand that coming in for the first time can feel overwhelming. We’ll do everything we can to make you feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported. You’re welcome to bring a support person or family member with you if that helps you feel more at ease. Please know that you are not alone—we are here for you.

Step 2: Orientation
After your tour, you’re welcome to return later that week (or the following week) for an orientation meeting. This is a chance for you to get to know us, learn about our unit work and daily operations, and for us to learn more about you as well.
Orientation begins with a conversation where you’ll hear about what we do, our standards and expectations, and how the Work-Ordered Day guides everything at the Clubhouse. We’ll make sure to answer any questions you may have.
After this introduction, we will walk you through the Clubhouse again and show you the different areas where members and staff work side-by-side throughout the day.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet some of our members and see the Clubhouse Model in action. You’re welcome to participate in the Work-Ordered Day—such as helping prepare lunch—or simply observe at your own comfort level.
Skagit Clubhouse is more than just a place to spend the day. It is a community that offers acceptance, connection, recovery, and meaningful work alongside peers who understand the journey of mental health.

Step 3: Member Welcome
The last step to becoming a member of Skagit Clubhouse is a Goal Planning Meeting. During this visit, a staff member will sit with you and complete the paperwork together—no one is expected to do this on their own.
This meeting helps us get to know you and includes a chance to begin a simple goal plan. The forms also cover basic information, consent, and other necessary details. The process usually takes about 40–50 minutes, depending on your pace and comfort.
If you’d like to review the forms ahead of time, you’re welcome to download them below. This is completely optional and just a way to help you feel prepared—there’s no pressure to fill anything out in advance.
You are welcome to bring a support person with you if that helps you feel more comfortable. All information you share is confidential and securely stored.
